He has the same name as--but is not the same person as--the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Here’s reunited fIREHOSE (Mike Watt, George Hurley, Ed Crawford) playing the first show on their all-too-brief reunion tour in Sacramento, California. Skip forward to around 1:30 for the actual playing of “Brave Captain”, the first song from their first album. If anyone has any leads on soundboard recordings of any of these shows or their Coachella set let me know.
