His writing about music and comedy has appeared on AmplifierMagazine.com, The Onion News Network, Cracked.com, etc. He can frequently be seen at the UCB Theatre, where he is the Artistic Associate. He has the same name as--but is not the same person as--the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

At the risk of baiting the dumb dipshit asshole who accused me of being “bad at judging music” when I raved about the Friends album, let me take this moment to tell you that Purity Ring is great and I’m excited for this album.

See what you made me do? I making a very concerted effort to go through each day without saying anything mean or negative, as a way of dealing with some recent anger/negativity issues I’ve been having, and now I have to put a quarter in the jar. Maybe even two quarters.
