The first Porno For Pyros album—there were only two—is a trippy jaunt through a universe of typically Perry Farrell characters and adventures drenched with Peter DiStefano’s Wah Wah pedal. Weird drugs, secret guns, socially impotent old rich men and women who’ve never had orgasms find vivid life through Farrell’s high nasal voice and are accented by Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins and Martyn LeNoble’s bass.
